Support for Initiates.
A Shaktipat Intensive with Durga Ma will
provide you with important information relevant to the practice of
Sahaja Yoga, spontaneous experiential Surrender Meditation. Shaktipat
initiation into Sahaja Yoga are concurrent with your Intensive.
To Take an Intensive
Your first step will be to complete a
short questionnaire, which you may request
by email. Please enter the
word "QUESTIONNAIRE" in the Subject line of your email. Follow
the instructions given to return the questions with your answers. Your
answers to these questions will help Durga Ma get to know you.
Preparation involves following simple
instructions for a period of at least two weeks prior to initiation.
If you are accepted as an initiation candidate, instructions will be
sent to you by email.
Upon receipt of preparation instructions,
you should schedule your Intensive via email and then reserve your
time one month in advance by completing Part 3 below:
Private or semi-private Intensives are
held in Phoenix, AZ, with Durga Ma, by appointment only.
Your Intensive of one or two days includes
a massive amount of information on spiritual development, sahaja
kundalini, chakras, lokas, granthis, yoga cosmology, stages of progress,
spiritual powers, and more.

After brief instructions you will receive
shaktipat directly from Durga Ma and become initiated into the practice
of Sahaja Yoga (shaktipat kundalini yoga, Surrender Meditation). Initiation
generally takes about one hour and will be held concurrent with your

begin following them right away.
After your application has been submitted
and received, it will be read by Durga Ma. You will then receive an
email with further instructions.
Before your Initiation begins, you will
need to set aside a generous space or a private room free of interruptions
and distractions. You will also need a timer to time your meditation
for approximately one hour.
Shaktipat is transmitted by thought,
sound, gaze or touch. Your initiation will be primarily through sound
in the form of an audio that begins with a short mantra and
moves into an excerpt from "Mandala", one of Durga Ma's musical
compositions. The remainder of your hour will be silent.
Durga Ma offers support for initiates

you will find entries on shaktipat and sahaja yoga sadhana,
the practice that follows initiation, and translations of short excerpts
from Sanskrit texts. You may leave questions for Durga
Ma, and share experiences and have discussions with other initiates
